From maternity to the podium, Amalie does unthinkable in women’s 400m hurdles
Iuel Amalie of Norway set a new Meet Record by clocking 54.89 in the women's 400m hurdles.
"It's amazing. I definitely did not expect this being the first race after I returned from maternity. The great Nairobi crowd pushed us all the way," Amalie.
Second placed Pauline Couckuyt (55.23) of Belgium and Bianca Stubler (56.69) of USA were placed second and third respectively.
