Blazing Reynold Cheruiyot defends 1500m in style
World Cross Country Mixed Relay champion Reynold Cheruiyot defended his 1500m Kip Keino Classic title in style.
He clocked 3:31.96 to set a new World Lead in the category.
"I have been suffering from a cold in the last one week but I still managed to win the race.
I trained well for my speed; doing 60m and 80m and that is why I improved on my finishing.
I will now be preparing for Diamond Leagues starting with Eugene next month," Cheruiyot underlined.
Brian Komen (3:32.29) and Daniel Munguti (3:33.7) raked second and third place respectively to set new personal bests in the contest.
