USA’s Tara Davis-Woodhall launched her 2026 long jump season with a statement performance at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting, on Saturday (14). The Olympic champion produced a world-leading leap of 7.20m and also recorded a wind-assisted 7.25m to dominate the competition in Los Angeles, underlining her early-season form and reinforcing her status as one of the leading contenders in women’s long jump this year.
