Norway’s Amalie Iuel smashed the meet record in the women’s 400m hurdles with a stunning 54.80s at the 2025 Absa Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi. Competing at Ulinzi Sports Complex, Iuel outpaced a competitive international field to highlight one of the standout performances at the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold event. Finland’s Kristiina Halonen (55.32 PB) and Germany’s Eileen Demes (55.38) completed the podium. Multiple season and personal bests made the race one of the most thrilling and high-quality hurdle events ever held in Kenya.
